Work the Responses: Inbox and Priority—Tasks Filter (5 min)

Let's talk about how to work the responses.

Early on, we discussed a quote by Jim Rohn. It talked about consistency being a big factor and having the discipline to do things over and over again. That's where the real magic is gonna happen!

Everything we're doing, all of the automations, text, emails, and constant updates to the system, are designed to put you in a better position to succeed.

But if you don't respond to the leads or make the phone call, how's it gonna happen? Right? It's impossible.

So this is the final piece that we need from you to really make things work.

Inbox

The first place that we need your help is the inbox.

The inbox is super easy to find. It's in the top right inside Sierra Interactive. It's where all the inbound communication lives. If somebody emails you or sends you a text message, it's gonna be in the inbox.

You need to focus on clearing out the emails received, and the text received tab.

Remember to use your status definitions. We talked about status definitions in module one. Status definitions are very, very important because if somebody says to you in here, don't ever text me or email me again, that's gonna be a DNC person. You just need to know where to put them within the database.

Priority Task Filter

The second place that we need your help is the priority task filter.

The priority filter has the best people inside your database. These are the hottest of the hot. These are the ones that you want to go after.

What you're trying to do is you're trying to make sure that you get this filter down to zero and keep this at zero as much as possible.

Lead Status Dropdown

You can use the dropdown menu to find different statuses within the priority task list.

So I can go here and say, okay, show me all of my active people that are inside of my priority task list, or show me all my prime people.

Maybe instead of going after everyone, you maybe want to start with your prime priority, and then maybe go to your active and then go to your qualify, or your new.

Like work your way, kind of in a reverse order where you're working not only the hottest opportunities but also the ones that are in the hottest stage, right?

Again, that's why the statuses are so important. Once you know the statuses, you know that the prime priority people should probably take priority over the qualify priority people, right? Because the qualify were you're cold, unresponsive. It's not that you don't need to get to them, it's just you may want to get to these people first.

Recap Responsibilities

These are the two things that we need you to do.

  1. We need you to make sure your inbox is cleared out
  2. We need to make sure that your priority task filter is at zero

If you just do those two things, that's where the wins will come from. That's where the deals and the conversations are gonna come from. We are seeing a 60 to 70% answer rate with the priority task list. This is where the major opportunity lives!

The Cycle

The nudging of the filters starts the engagement. The action plans that we're automatically applying and the nudging that you're manually applying create the engagement that fills up the inbox and fills up that priority task list.

So if you don't see anything in your inbox or you don't see anything in your priority task list, you probably need to nudge your database.

It's just a cycle.
