This article will walk you through the steps of setting up Facebook domain verification on your website.
- Login at busines.facebook.com/settings
- On the left-side panel, click on Brand Safety > Domains
- You will then see domains that have been verified. If no domains are present, you can add a domain by clicking the blue "Add" button.
- Enter your domain.
- After entering your domain, it will give you a few options on how you can show Facebook that you own the domain. We suggest using the first option, using meta tags to connect to your source code. You will then copy the meta tag. (Keep this tab open in your browser)
- In a new internet tab, log in to your Sierra Interactive.
- In Sierra, click the Gear Icon > Site Layout Settings.
- Click on Tracking and Conversion Codes
- In the box that contains <head> you will paste the meta tag in a new line under the other code present. Then Save Changes.
- Then go back to business.facebook.com and press the green Verify Domain button. Note: This can take up to 72 hours for Facebook to complete the verification process.
